EASY TO USE NON-ABRASIVE LOCOMOTIVE WHEEL CLEANER

We found that we can clean a truck in 4 - 5 seconds using this device.
The set includes the cleaner, two pieces of 6 inch code 80 straight track, necessary track joiners, and three extra sets of non-abrasive cleaning pads.
Use your favorite wheel cleaning fluid with the cleaner.

The cleaner can be set up as a stand-alone unit using one or both pieces of straight track. If both pieces are used, as shown in the pictures, both trucks can be cleaned without having to turn the locomotive around.
The truck not on the cleaning pads draws power from the cleaning track to drive the truck being cleaned.
The cleaning track is powered by two alligator clip leads (not supplied) that clip onto the end of the cleaning track and the rails of your layout.
Thus, this device works equally well with both DC and DCC systems.
If your layout is built with code 80 track, you can also simply add the cleaning device to the end of a siding, making sure that you have at least one piece 6 inch track beyond the cleaner.
With this set-up, the cleaning unit is powered directly from the layout and You have the added convenience of simply running a locomotive onto the siding for cleaning.
(This is wonderful if, like me, your eyesight is getting old and it is not as easy to place a locomotive on the track correctly as it once was.)

The first picture shows the cleaning device set up for stand-alone use. Again, you supply the alligator clip leads for power.
The second picture shows a locomotive placed on the cleaning unit for truck cleaning. Sorry, but the custom-painted, super-detailed, post merger Wabash GP35 is not included as a part of the set.

THE CLEANING PADS ARE BLACK WHEN SHIPPED, I INSTALLED GREEN FOR EASY VIEWING.

CLEANING ROLLING STOCK WHEELS

This idea was sent to me by one of my customers! I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your wheel cleaner devices. In order to clean rolling stock wheels, I installed one extra piece of straight track connected to a standard rerailer at each end of your rig. I mounted this hole gizmo at a place in my yard where I can easily use my hands. Then I roll a piece of rolling stock across the first standard rerailer, then to the wet wheel cleaner - back and forth a few times for each truck. I use the far rerailer to rerail in case the wheels become derailed during the back and forth process. Works like a dream

Hope this makes sense. Thanks again for the product. ...Tom
